ENGLISH CLASSES
MDSI, in partnership with other local community service
organisations provides free English classes to migrants.
The University of Western Sydney English Language Centre
provides free English Language classes to newly arrived migrants
who are eligible for the 510 hours of tuition under the Adult
Migrant English Program (AMEP). Registration and assessments are
conducted on Thursdays between 9.00am and 1.00pm at MDSI.
Appointments are necessary.
Classes are conducted at beginner, post beginner and
intermediate levels. As there are many visa categories,
eligibility for the course can only be established by bringing a
passport to the Centre at the time of registration. The
University of Western Sydney English Language Centre also offers
classes at a small cost to fee paying students.
English language classes are also provided at MDSI through
Campbelltown TAFE and volunteer organisations such as the Marist
Sisters.
