MDSI Wins NSW Seniors Week 2010 Achievement Award
The NSW Seniors Week Achievement Awards are a prestigious recognition of NSW seniors for their contribution to the development of our community, for their leadership and for their initiative. The awards provide an opportunity to formally thank older people for the contributions that they make to the quality of life in our state.
The award recipients are nominated in categories including Business, Community Service/Volunteering, Education and Lifelong Learning, Environment/Science/Agriculture, Health and Wellbeing and Intergenerational Understanding.
Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) administers the NSW Seniors Week Achievement Awards as part of the NSW Government’s commitment to older people.
Minister for Ageing Paul Lynch has paid tribute to the dedication of New South Wales seniors at an awards ceremony in Sydney on Sunday March 21st. The MDSI Chief Executive Officer, Aged Care Services Manager received this award on behalf of MDSI from Mr Lynch who presented awards to more than 60 seniors and seniors’ organisations at the NSW Seniors Week 2010 Achievement Awards, held at the City Recital Hall in Sydney.
